All of Kite Hill’s products start with housemade, artisan almond milk, which contains more of the almond and none of the additives found in many almond milk products. With a strong foundation in Whole Foods and the natural channel, Kite Hill is on track for rapid expansion into other retailers – and needs the support of a talented, passionate and motivated Sales & Marketing Coordinator to help us scale.

Position Description

Kite Hill is seeking a Sales & Marketing Coordinator (SMC) to join this exciting, fast-paced environment. The SMC is responsible for supporting the sales and marketing teams with general administrative support and special projects. The ideal candidate will have a personal connection to the Kite Hill brand and mission to empower ethical, plant-based eating without sacrifice. She / he will be very flexible and enjoy a “high-change” environment where priorities shift from day to day. Highly organized, detail-oriented and comfortable with working independently, the SMC will own tasks and projects to completion and exhibit exceptional follow-through.

Primary Responsibilities

Sales Team Support

  • Coordinates development of new item sell-in materials
  • Coordinates retail sales sample requests.
  • Manages Customer Category Review Tracker
  • Manages new product launch tracker
  • Manages in-bound customer inquiries

Marketing Team Support

  • Project manage new graphics / label development process (managing internal routing, timelines, etc.)
  • Coordinating development of Point-of-Sales Materials and other collateral
  • Sourcing, ordering and shipping event / demo material needs
  • Manage sourcing / ordering of SWAG and other promotional materials
  • Co-creates coupon strategy and manages program execution (printing, tracking, monitoring, etc.)
  • Staff events from time-to-time (e.g. Expo East / West)
  • Budget support (e.g. invoice and PO processing)
  • Assists with in-bound consumer and marketing inquiries

Other Cross-Functional Support:

  • Manages Retail Marketing Campaigns Tracker (Field Marketing, customer-specific promotions, etc.)
  • Owns, manages, updates cross functional team knowledge base / asset library to facilitate easy sharing and storage of product information, new launch materials, assets, images, content, pricing, specifications, promotional calendars, brand presentations, etc.
  • Project Management on special projects as-needed
  • Coordinates all trade show (national and distributor) activity (both pre-show and on-site planning and execution)

General Administrative Support, which many include:

  • Data input, tracking and reporting
  • Meeting planning and support
  • General printing and shipping

Education / Technical Qualifications

  • BA required
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency with MS office programs
  • CRM / Project Management skills a ++

Online Community Manager

Position Summary:

Kite Hill is looking for an experienced Online Community Manager who is highly motivated, creative and able to represent the Kite Hill brand in all digital applications. This person lives, breathes and loves social media. He/She not only knows the ins and outs of how the different platforms work (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest), but loves engaging with our online community, cultivating new Kite Hill followers and converting them to customers. The ideal candidate will have a true interest in the natural food space, healthy lifestyle and desires to work for a company that is pioneering the plant-based dairy world. This position reports to the Marketing Manager.

Job Duties will include

Content Creation

  • Writing and publishing of a variety of content on all platforms that speaks to brand look,feel and tone (Photography experience a plus!)
  • Create and manage a monthly content calendar based on strategy, company goals and analytics
  •  Produce social advertisements for promotion
  • Highlight company news, products, accolades on social channels
  •  Review and approve user generated posts on our website

Community Engagement

  •  Responsiveness is key! Reply thoughtfully to messages, comments, likes and reviews
  •  Maintain voice and know the best of practices for answering company inquiries
  •  Engage with our community to maintain connection of the brand to the fan, see where Kite Hill fans live online, know our consumer in and out
  •  Report complaints, concerns or other information to the appropriate team members as it applies to the company
  •  Reply to the customer service emails using our ticketing system to appropriately categorize them
  • Retain brand partnership relationships on social
  • Monitor online reviews and maintain efforts in building reviews
  •  Be online all the time, check our social platforms during off hours as well

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above
  •  3+ years of relevant working experience in a digital and social capacity preferably in the consumer goods, fashion/beauty, or other lifestyle industry
