Sour Cream Guacamole

Picture this: You’re at a gathering and the appetizers and dips are calling your name. As you dip your chip into seemingly classic guacamole and take a bite, your taste buds are surprised by the refreshingly creamy secret ingredient—Kite Hill Sour Cream Alternative! We’ve created a flavorful dip that combines the simple ingredients of traditional guacamole, avocados, cilantro, onions, with an added dairy-free sour cream dollop using almond milk and coconut milk. A perfect dip for entertaining guests on any occasion, and if you think they can handle the spice, throw in some diced jalapeno to add an extra kick!

Ingredients
2 large avocados, just ripe
1 tablespoon lime juice
2 medium cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
1/4 cup diced red onion
1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped
1/4 cup Kite Hill Sour Cream
Method
Step 1.
Mash avocado to desired texture in a medium bowl.
Step 2.
Stir in the lime juice, garlic, and salt until fully combined. Stir in the onion and cilantro. Taste, and add more salt/lime/cilantro if desired.
Step 3.
Gently fold in the sour cream, until evenly distributed but not fully combined. You want to see ribbons of sour cream.
Step 4.
Transfer carefully to a serving bowl and top with more onion and cilantro. Serve immediately.
Step 5.
Recipe Notes:
For a spicier version, add in 1/2 - 1 finely diced jalapeno (seeds and ribs removed).
